How'd the reporting go last time NFN?

Justification should be taken into account...don't fkng call me out or be condescending when I'm on topic, was my point.

Personal opinion on whether I use words or smiley's to convey what my point isn't the job of another member.

Only because it's Steven am I going to drop this.

I posted smiley's that portray how I felt about the warnings of the previous post for Justin and that were ON topic. That post by Tacobello to rant about my post count was out of line and uncalled for and I apologize for biting. I should have just PM'd him.

Knowing justn, he's probably considering buying some upgraded pistons now, tearing everything back apart and putting them in.

What are you going to do, man?

Hey, Justin, I was looking at the picture on the previous page (w/the red valve covers) and I noticed one big problem...the engine is in the wrong way...it's SIDEWAYS! I think you need to try again.

Fire that puppy up

Let the hotspots commence

So I guess we're not going to get any pics of the cleaned piston heads?

I agree. Watching the updates for weeks, you need to put the first start up on the web.

Waiting for the down pipe to ship I'm guessing?? All that looks left is bolting the intake back on, the battery, radiator hoses and the down pipe. Which shouldn't take too long.

I'm also up for a good YouTube first start up vid.

Did you ever get a good look at the top of the (clean or uncleaned) pistons? Any pics?

a friend has the front center mount.
he took it to a shop to see if they could get the broken bolt out.

but that's basically it.

- front mount
- radiator.
- radiator hoses
- change coolant.
- hook up intake
-hook up exhaust stuffs.

nfn and KR3, no I did not get a picture of the clean pistons.
I cleaned them and the mating surface between the heads and block then immediately put the heads on.

Maybe see if Dennis has any decent tires laying around?

Seriously though...fk it, install the mount and run a roofing L bracket to it, it'll hold.

How's everything else going?

my stock wheels have summer tires on.
butt one is flat.
thus why i had to borrow a wheel.

and yes, my car is on jack stands more than I drive her....
bad luck?

should I sell for a corolla?

no, I will keep her forever and ever.

J32's are cheap.
if the block goes, I'll just transplant another J32 in her.

and yes, I can already feel that the J37 heads will be a significant improvement even without a tune.
imagine with a tune!

I was just giving you a "hard time", my friend. No harm meant...
Carry on.

PS, I was going to sell the TL last week to buy a truck cash. Then I decided that was a fucking stupid idea. I'm glad I did. I'd miss her too much.

So no Hondata yet? In the plans or not?

Also, your valve covers look great. Did you bake yours in the oven or just use a heat gun?

Sure it's in the plans.
I'll dyno like this and see where I'm at over my 241wp.
Then if I'm willing to spend on Hondata + harness + type-s ecu + tune+ dealership fee etc

I also have to have enough money saved for the block just in case it goes.
