Hi Guys,

Don't kill me for the doing the stupidest thing possible. I ran my 2004 Acura Tl (Automatic) on an empty tank. Got out to get something and when I came back the car won't start and it shut down on me. I was able to put 2 Gallon of gas in the car and still nothing. I started to pump the pedal and it would light up but still didn't start. I left the keys in the ignition and I started hearing some sort of mechanical activity going on under the hood. The car started and was running and I started it again about 4 hours later and it worked fine. I got this morning and all the lights lit up on the dashboard as normal. But as soon as I made that first turn in with the key.......the car goes dead. When I remove the key, the dashboard lights up again. Can anyone help with what's going on. I'm just lost.

 

Could it possible be an igntion switch failure or main relay problem?

 

Energy shot to the alternator. Just needed a re-charged and fix the loose wire. Battery was dead.
