Question Is it just me or is my steering pulling alot more now?

Ok, so I have an 07 Type-S and I feel like my steering isn't what it used to be. I do have some 19 inch ronjon wheels on it right now but the problem exist even with my stock wheels. My 19's only amplify the problem and make it more noticeable. Heres what Ive noticed:

1) From a stop a quick burst on the accelerator will cause the steering wheel to kick; especially when the road is just slightly uneven. ( it feels like my steering is following the shape of the road rather than staying straight)

2) Lets say I floor the accelerator while the car is already in motion, the car seems to slightly glide to the left even when the steering wheels is straight. If I hit a bump in this situation the steering will also give a kick.

3) When braking on an uneven road the wheel will pull left and right.

I have taken the car to get aligned so i think we can rule that out. Do you guys have any idea on what it can be? Ive taken my car to the dealer 3 times for this problem, each time I put my stock wheels back on because i didnt want them to blame it on my aftermarket rims. Because the problem doesnt occur as much with the stocks on the techs say that everything is functioning normally; it also doesnt help that out in the suburbs where the dealerships are located they have nearly perfect roads that do not reflect driving conditions here in the heart of Chicago.

Is this normal? I just drove my car one day and felt it to be different. Any help from you guys on what the problem could be would really be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think this is something like torque steer? Not sure, but do a search on torque steer and maybe it'll answer your questions.

#1 is torque steer. Happens to any front-wheel drive car that has more than minimal power.

On #2, have you tried swapping your tyres from one side of the car to the other (assuming they're not directional), or else swapping front to back? If you do the side-to-side swap and the car pulls the other way, you might have a radial pull (which is a defect in a specific tyre). How many miles do you have? It would be unusual for a radial pull to develop suddenly, but if you had the current front tyres on the rear from the time you bought them and only just moved them to the front, it would be understandable that you wouldn't have noticed the problem earlier.

Yes i have rotated my stock from side to side, still no fix. I have 24,000 miles on it. I dont think it is a tire problem as you said it would not develop suddenly.

Have you gotten a 4-wheel alignment?

I understand the still no fix part. What I meant is—you said that when you floor it the car pulls left. If you swap the tyres to the other side, does the car then pull to the right? If so, the problem is likely to be the tyre that you swapped from left front to right front.

I experience the same thing..... except that I'm not sure if there's a pull on stockey....

About a year ago, I installed tein ss, and ronjon wheel and new falken tires, then suddenly it pulls to right bit... I then do 4 wheel alignment... and everything set to normal already... but it still pulls to right...
My first thought is the radial pull, the store immediately replace the right-front tire... still same thing...
We then switch front to back on both side (directional) still same thing...

till today, I still have no clue what causes that... I'm kindda over it already and decide to live with it.... it's very minor, but still can feel it.

heavier wheels = more inertia. That means torque steer and any minor handling quirks will be magnified and the car will be less responsive to steering inputs. Switch to a lightweight 18" wheel and tire combo and your problems will go away.
