Just installed the V2 and now my car has no power

Car ran fine for about 50 miles... I got home turned it off and my dome light didnt come on and come to find out there is no power to the car.

Has anyone ever had any issues with the gound wire relocation??? I moved it and had no power to the car so put it back in the right location where it was from factory... car ran till i got home....

Any ideas?!?!?!?!

Gotta use a dremmel or something to grind the paint off then make sure you use some battery terminal grease or something in that location so it wont rust.

I hope I didnt damage the gound wire... I relocated the wire like it said in the instructions but that was a no go... the lock pin was bent due to the fact that the instructions didnt require you to drill a hole. " They just said move it here"

This is BS

I put it back in its original location and screwed the rubber mount to the gound, Intake to the outside of the rubber mount and then washer and nut... Problem solved...

That ground is very important and I dont know why they say to relocate without further instructions...

I'm going to do a DIY on this...

Thanks everyone for your help you are all right! But there is a easy fix for the factory location of the ground and the intake mount to fit and work fine without relocating the ground to a hole where it there is no hole drilled for the locking pin... That pin gives the car a solid ground connection... I was having intermittent problems with the instructions relocation hole!

AEM your retarded!

The intermittent problems that I was having can be different with every car. GOOD Connectivity of the ground plain is very important... Anything whether it be paint, rust, dirt or any other foreign material can affect the connection, even the screw not being tight enough or even level.

I knew the relocation wouldn't work before I even tried it at least on my car that is... I would have need a drimmel or a file to scrape some of the paint plus drilled a hole for the pin...

NOW there is another issue and for what ever reason the Fender lining is getting tire rub what in the FAAAAAAK!

Im ordering a new one but what the hell would cause this? Everything is bolted together properly and nothing is lose... FML...

I've had my V2 for several months now and even completed a 2300 mile round trip with now issues. Slight whistle at low rpms, but thats it. I relocated mine also because the directions said. Straight forward, bolted right up....maybe I got lucky. Glad to hear you figured out the problem!~

This is common with the intakes to have the whistle... Ive had it on all my Civics with cold air and its louder with a short ram... Some actually have a really loud high pitch whistle... kinda sounds good in my opinion!
