is po 430 most likely cat replacement or can it be be a 02 sensor

As a Tech for honda for the last four years i hate to say that it is infact your Front bank cat, now depending on the year of the car and milage it can be replaced under warranty. all manufacturers are bound by the 8/80 law which is 8 years 80000 miles. if your vehicle falls under that then they should replace it free of charge.

 

2004 tl at base called acura said out of warranty 74k miles.

ahh you just were out of warranty, about a half of year. you might be able to talk to the acura rep and work out some type of goodwill being that you just missed the cut off and its either or on 8 yrs 80000 if your car is 9 yrs with 74k its out or if your car is 5 yrs with 100k its out
