Issue fixed! I spoke with my buddy who works for APPLE. He had someone at their cupertino office call me and told me what to do. This is a known bug with the 3G phones. What you need to do is turn off your WiFi. Make sure you've removed all instances of previous attempts ie (clearing the Acura's handsfree device from iphone and remove the saved phone from the Acura's memory.) Start the pairing process as you're supposed to and it will work. Once paired and tested. You may then turn on your WiFi and you're all set from that point forward.
