Help! Having 2 problems...

1) My interior lights no longer turn on when I unlock the car remotely or when I shut off the car and open the door. The lights on the bottom part of the door are the only ones that remain on...

2) Also, my passenger side mirror no longer angles down when I go in reverse...

Any thoughts?

 

Is the dome light switched to the middle position? Meaning neutral between on and off. Also on the mirror the only one that angles in reverse is the drivers. And the switch Must be on that mirror such as when you adjust it to get the mirror to tilt when put in reverse. Im pretty sure on the mirror but could be wrong!

 

The TL's mirror switch permits either outside mirror to tilt-- the switch has 3 positions- left mirror, none (center) or right mirror.

OP FSU-Acura: otherwise, Xx06SickspdTlxX is right- check your switch positions. If your car was washed or the interior detailed, those switches may have been bumped to a different position during the interior wipe-down.

 

^^ Right on with the mirror. The TL-S also has this feature - you Choose which mirror will tilt when reversing.

The choice is made by setting the mirror adjustment selector switch to Left or Right or Off (middle).

Not like the 2G, which was passenger side only.

 

I too am experiencing my interior lights not turning on when the alarm is disarmed or the doors are opened. The two front lights will turn on when they are manually turned on, but the rear dome lights will not. Any suggestions?? Fuse??

 

I got the same problem. Just happened today. Hopefully someone can figure this out... interior lights don't work in the auto position or with unlock on fob. Lights work fine on their own or with full on switch.
