Interior clicking noise when brakes are applied
I've got a new annoying sound in my TL that started today. When I apply the brakes there is a clicking noise under the shifter. I've got an AT. When I push the shifter even 1cm to the right it won't click when i press the brakes.
I'm sure it has something to do with the shifter being locked in place until the brakes are applied, but how do i stop the annoying click? has anyone had this problem?

its the sound of the relay thats in there that makes that clicking noise. i have the same problem every now and then. it happens if the car is in park and i press the brake. it clicks if im in drive and come to a complete stop. it also clicks when im in drive and take my foot off the brake to accelerate.
my noise comes and goes but i know its the relay that tells car its ready to be shifted into park.
