Intake and EGR cleaning
Here's some pics I took while cleaning my intake.
Upper intake with top cover removed. Before cleaning.
Runners still mounted to heads.
EGR passage caked up. Not blocked, but not clean either.

I think the runners could be cleand a little better if they were removed from the heads along with the injectors. It would probably go good with the DIY injector rebuild that someone else posted recently here:

Nice pics. I hope to get mine cleaned this weekend along with replacing all the other parts I ordered. I have 146k+ miles. Mine should be very "interesting". I have 4 cans of carb cleaner ready to go...

Nah, Probably not much noticable difference. But that EGR passage was starting to get pretty caked up. I had the intake off to get to the valve covers for a valve adjustment and just decided to clean it up while I was there.
