Inside TRUNK button not working....

Anyone ever have their interior trunk button malfunction? I checked the safety switch in the glove box, but the main button still doesn't open the trunk. Good thing the button on my alarm still works.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Gotta troubleshoot the switch. The trunk latch doesn't seem to be malfunctioning. Definitely start with the switch.

when you say check did you check to see if the valet switch was connected? or just checked to see if it was in the lock position?

my switch was broken and I recently replaced it with a new one...

since my car is gutted, it was really easy to open/access the trunk from the inside

Have you or a tech changed the cabin filter or installed any accessories like remote start on the car?
If so, check the connectors on the glove box switch and the trunk-open button first.
Disconnected wiring seems more common than failure of the trunk switches themselves, at least on this board.
