Hey question I have is my car starts shaking at like 3-4 rpm when its about to switch gears (AT) It feels like my tranny is loose or engine.... I replaced the front right mount because it was busted. now i know we have the front motor mount right under the radiator and one in the back part of the engine.. If one of those or both are bad will that cause all that shaking? only sometimes it does it not all the time. And if i punch the gas hard at a stop i feel like engine slides back or moves.

 

I deleted the thread you posted in 4G TL since you have a 3G TL andalreaqdy have this thread posted.

Don't forget to mention this in your car sale thread when you repost it.

 

If a mount breaks, the other mounts are stressed more...check all of your other mounts.

 

Ok thanks guys ! Kinda new on this thread posting. And I went to add more on the for sale thread but it's deleted some how.

 

It is my understanding that you will feel bad motor mounts the most when the car is stopped while in drive, like at a red light.

And I agree with the post above, if you had to replace one, then you should probably replace all of them cause of the additional stress placed on them.
