URGENT HELP NEEDED.

Weirdest thing happened yesterday. When i started the car it wouldnt start. Everything seems to be ok, only when I hold the key in the ignition with my hand. As soon as I let go the key, engine shuts down. It does start and drives but only when I hold the key manually in the ignition. It does sound like an electrical problem. Please Help.

You should already be at the dealer by now to get this fixed. It is definitely a first for us.

 

maybe try to put the key into second position for few seconds, then start (third position) ... that may help...

 

My acura did the same thing. It only took me 15 to 20 minutes to fix after I found out what the problem was. Let me know if it still does it.

Got a ton of other keys on the key ring?
That is not good for the key switch....
