Ignition
I notice now when I start the car, the engine cranks at least three times before the engine start. Is this normal?
I know that during the winter it may take a while, but since it’s spring and the weather around nyc is at an mild cool/warm setting, I don’t think the weather plays a factor.
I also checked the battery to make sure it’s alright and everything fine. I’m just not to sure if it’s a engine problem now.
How long does it take for your engine to start?

how did you test the battery?
by having a parts store or shop do a complete voltage at running rpm, load test and starter draw-recovery?
Its free at most major parts stores
Acura batteries are lucky to last 3 maybe 4 years
How many miles- you could be due for an intake cleaning, some gas claner or new spark plugs
But really test the battery first

I actually went to the dealership and asked to them check it out, and they say everything is fine, and the battery is fine.
TL-06- 25k mile on it..
maybe it's time to change the battery and some new spark plugs

Team Owner
It's hard to say without hearing it. I've heard the TL's engine is supposed to make 2-3 complete rotations on the starter before it fires. Supposedly so that it builds some oil pressure before combustion.
I remember reading that the McLaren F1's BMW engine did the same thing for the same reason.
Mine turns over plenty fast but it definately takes a little longer to fire than most of the other cars I've owned.

Three Wheelin'
I think it was stated in the manual when the engine is hot it takes a lil while longer to start the car. I havent had much issue with mind it starts most of the time...But I think it has to do with the emissions deal. I remember reading it on the thread a while back. I found it kinda odd.
