Identify problem

after driving for a while, stop to park there's a grinding noise. It gets worse when i turn left or right. The noise is coming from the passenger side. Open the hood up and i found a broken piece. Im not sure what it is, can someone let me know what it is? and could it be the problem? Thanks.

the broken part is the side motor mount! A broken one can lead to more engine movement and vibrations.

The grinding noise you are getting is from the power steering system. Check the fluid level (Container with the red cap in the last photo) and it might be worth it to flush the fluid too.

Have you gotten the power steering system recall done yet?

Yeah, that mount is shot. id check the other ones! The power steering recall is an easy DIY or take to dealer, then change out the old fluid if necessary.

this pic is like one of those pics where there's a hot girl in the middle, and no one notices something crazy in the background.

Yes indeed your motor mount is torn, but what I also notice in this pic is the power steering pump has the infamous leak. There is a great power steering pump rebuild thread here on acurazine: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=841134&page=4
