I thought the Driver side window shattered...

I left the driver side window half way down last night. As I got in the car this morning and closed the door, I thought for sure the glass broke/shattered. Luckily it did NOT. So I tried it again and it made this noise (rattle) again. I then raised the window all the way up....open and close the door without the sound anymore.

Is it normal to hear the glass move (about halfway down) when closing the door?

Thanks!

With the windown half way down, closing the door made the glass move I guess.

But like I said, when the raised the window all the way up, closing the door was normal.

Yeah, I hate that. It's done that on every acura I have been in. Including my TL.

It rattles if it's all the way down and you close the door, too. It's no big deal.

Thanks for the responses. At least I know that this is common to all of us.

Now I wonder if this happens with my older car that I traded in...hmm...
