Exclamation I "gotta"2005 Acura TL issues !! Help ASAP

What's up every body I'm new to this online community . I need some help ASAP !! I owe a 2005 Acura TL base model 3.2 automatic . I have a two issues with it .
I'm daily driver , but lately when I get in my car to start it , it won't turn on until I shift it from park to neutral or drive or Manual and then shift it to park . It turns on like a champ . Is it a sensor ? Of so , name and location ? Is it a DIY ? I'll get to the second issue later on I believe this one is more important for now .
I will greatly appreciate it ! Thank you .

Sounds like the neutral safety switch. That's where I would start first because it should be a cheap fix

cool, never knew about this neutral safety switch!
it's a very good place to start with the limited amount of info we have.
