I've searched & posted in different threads no one's been able to answer or seem to haven't ever heard of my problem before so I've decided to make a new thread...

Problem:

[ Whenever key was in ignition ] if I would open driver door & close it all locks would engage cycle & all doors would lock!!! Would only happen with key in the hole !!!

Info:

my door lock wouldn't go down with other doors replaced with $10 actuator bam simple fix ( probably 90% of peoples problem ) I even asked my local acura dealer didn't bother having them look at it but they said it was in the settings looked there duh...( key in the hole all doors lock w/car on or off park or drive stopped or moving )....yes I've tried resetting the ecu both ways gas pedal or brake pedal down key turn tounch nose tap head reset & disconnect battery for 5~20mn different times w/no result...

SOLUTION:

ok people I don't think y'all are ready for this one! Buy a plane ticket to somewhere take a vacation on a grey hound go get am extended rental ona Ferrari or just prepare to just sit on your couch for a little more than a week & a half?...
I had to fly to Virginia for almost two weeks for work to complete some rush project & ? before I left I cleverly disconnected my battery cable came home almost two weeks later & wala ?! I know its kinda ridiculous & know one really has that much time to go w/out there car but it worked for me

 

Your problem is/was probably within the MICU (Multiplex integrated control unit). The draining of the MICU takes longer than the 20 minutes, you would disconnect the battery for. This is the central control module for your major electronics inside the cabin. Sometimes this alone will solve issues.

Also, punctuation does wonders with long posts.

 

^Guess on how long it takes to "drain" and reset. I've got a similar issue and everything I'm researching is pointing towards the MICU.

 

Leave it un hooked over night and see if that fixes it. Otherwise wait for a weekend and let it sit all weekend!

 

Just posted yesterday that I fixed it by leaving my Battery unplugged for about two weeks... it was fine for about one day until I didn't lock the doors sprayed the car off real quick & opened the door back up; immediately setting off the alarm noticed the little red light blinking actually...this was actually another problem in addition to the the ones that I was already having before... Alarm would set itself w/doors left unlocked... there was a time today where it didn't do it?...I'll go try right now lol... : / back to broken...I think it could have something to do with alarm maybe?...I also only have driver 2 remote? (lost one)...I did just go through settings again only driver 2 available? just bcz... I will say though it did start to happen after I received the wrong side door actuator left the bad one unplugged for about a week during that time I believe is when it first started... I received the right one popped it in & my doors worked again ( bad driver door lock actuator) still other problem exists...
