I am not crazy.......

I swear when temps are below 70 degrees, when i turn on the radio it sounds like my alarm clock at best, like a mute button is on or something....if its warm out, which is most of the year where i live in Mobile, AL - radio works fine. Anyone else run into this??

So you are saying that when the outside temp drops below 70, your radio clarity gets worse - this is what I am reading, no? Not that I am going to be any help being on the 2nd gen side, but this is not a problem for me.

Wondering if there's a loose contact or electrical connection somewhere in the system, and when the metal contracts with lower temps, the connection isn't solid. Just a theory, and not sure there's anything to be done about it if this is the case.

Still under warranty by chance? If so, see if they can replicate and troubleshoot it. Good luck!

x2 this sounds most reasonable on what it could be based upon the details you have given us
