How to get your Engine to Stop Vibrating!
Hi AcuraZine!
After years of working on this car, one thing always bothered me. WHY is the engine vibrating so much, I don't want to feel the engine when im driving! Especially on idle.
I recently completed my 06 TL when I did the AV6 Tranny Swap and Steering Rack along with some New Lightweight Enkei TS-10's. The tranny swap of course added new transmission mounts, front engine mount, and my rear+side mounts were basically new (1 yr old).
Yet, the engine still vibrated... I even have new Fuel Injectors, What could it be?!?!
SOLUTION:
This little shit that throws no codes when it stops working.

For $50, and less than 1 minute of labor. You can replace this by yourself and BOOM the engine is 99% smoother. Granted the idle vibration can still come in here and there but overall the car feels amazing!
Replacement Video
Conclusion:
I wish I knew this years ago and Honestly, As a rule of thumb I'd say replace this every time you replace motor mounts just to be safe.
