Hey gang. I know the tinting issues for my 3rd gen are related to lack of felt inside the door. My question: is it easy to take the door panel off, and apply the felt myself?

Yes its very easy to do. Be sure you clean the mating surface with alcohol pads or equivalent.. dont want it to peel off.. also once u position it press and hold the area real good.

My front corner has peeled back an inch or 2 and now glue all over the tint

 

yes its pretty simple i even removed the door panels partially just enough to put the felt on. Not hard at all! good luck

Hey Yonkers, I notice you say cleared headlights. Is that a difficult job?

 

its not difficult but involves precision as u have to bake ur headlight in an oven. and if u dont do it right you may end up buying a new set of headlights

 

this might be a stupid question but....where do u get the felt from?
