How do I seal the headlights?

Water or condensation keep on occurring inside my headlights. Now that the weather is cold, the condensation doesn't seemed to disappear. I want to seal up the headlight. Are there any tip on finding where the cracks are located. Also what kind of product should I purchase and where can I get it? Thank you.

well there are a majority of places where water can come into the headlight, my advice is to check all the bulbs and make sure that they are all sealing properly. If it's not the bulbs, check the outer casing for cracks and just use any sort of high temperature rubber sealant on them. I believe JnC uses Nissan Headlight sealant....

get silica packs and stick some in the lights, it will eat the moisture up. if you want extra seal around the light, get permatex black silicone and spread it around

Where can I get these products? Also please provide as much details about so that I won't buy the wrong stuff. Thanks.
Is there any technique I can use to detect where the crack or air is coming in?
If I bought the silica packs, where do I place them?

The Nissan Butyl sealent "guitarplayer" posted is great stuff. This is what most retrofitters use when sealing their headlights. What you can do is either open your headlights, clean out the old sealent then, put some Nissan Butyl around the groove, heat it up so it's nice and soft then clamp the headlight shut. You can also run a strip of it on the outside of the headlight, where the lens meets the headlights housing. That should prevent any moisture build up. Also make sure you bulbs are seated properly in the opening, and the bulb cover is also seated properly.

You can probably just put them in either the foglight buld area by removing the rubber topper or take off the HID lowbeam cover and put it in there.

How did you managed to keep it in place? Did you use glue?

Can you buy the silica packs at a retail store like Autozone, Pep Boys or walmart?
