I just purchased a desert mist 05 w/ 5AT three days ago and have already returned it because the a/c does not work. I researched numerous cars for my next purchase and found the TL to have the most bang for the buck. After reading over some of the problems some of the other owners are having, I hope and pray that this is not forshadowing of things to come.

 

Dont worry. Get that fixed. As soon is you drive it and appreciate the fine lines of the car inside and out, you will be glad you have it. ENJOY!!!

 

I agree 100%.... My car has been back to the dealer twice to fix rattles and will be going back soon to get the last one cleared up, but I never once thought that I made a mistake getting into this car. It's the best of both worlds IMHO - Sporty and luxurious with enough tech toys to make anyone jealous.

Here's what I would do:
1. Get the A/C fixed
2. Get into your car
3. Use the HFL to call your significant other and tell them you're on your way over to pick them up and take them out to dinner... in a neighboring state!!
4. Use the NAVI to get you to said neighboring state
5. Find the restaurant of your choosing using NAVI restaurant locator- Enjoy great dinner
6. Make your way back home, again utilizing the on-board NAVI, while enjoying the entire jaunt in your new Desert Mist TL

(If you don't have NAVI, Thomas Guide or other map apparatus would be the next best thing.)
