HID replacement

I have already gone through the hassle of replacing my hid bulb, but now that will not work. My DRL have power. What would be my next option , replacing the ballast? Not really sure where to go from here because I replaced the bulb correctly t my knowledge.

Check the fuse.

Swap the known good working ballast to the other side and see what happens

Did you put the HID bulb in the DRL socket? If so, the lower DRL voltage wouldn't be enough to ignite the bulb. You need a full 12v.

The beauty of headlight problems is that you have 2 sets of components to help you troubleshoot!

Take parts from the WORKING SIDE of the car and swap them to the non-working side ONE AT A TIME until the problem is fixed.

I'd swap the ignitor first from the working side. If that doesn't do it then swap over the ballast!

Remove your front bumper, take your time and you'll be fine Be sure to wear gloves when handling bulbs, and make sure that everything is seated firmly and securely.
