HID bulbs, which model , which brand and where to buy
I've been searching but can't find definite answers to my questions.
I changed my bulbs about a year ago with low quality bulbs and now one has burned out....
so no more low quality bulbs !
I am looking for a good quality 6000k
1. I'm confused and not sure if I need D2S or D2C
2. what brand to buy
3. where to buy
Any help apreciated, thanks !

you need D2s bulbs. I THINK you can use D2C but stock is D2S. As to where to buy it's been a while since I had to buy bulbs so can't help ya on that one. I'm pretty sure Philips 85122+'s come in 6K and they're a good brand.

look for excelerate who's a vendor here. He had (maybe still going on) a gb on bulbs. you can just seach for it under the sponsored/groubuy section. I purchased one not too long ago.

Go with OEM Philips 85122 (4300K) They actually can be found on Ebay for about $45 each. That's well under dealer price (maybe $150 each?!?!). I used to buy them on Ebay for that price when I used to do HID retros in my old Accord. My buddy bought the car and the bulbs are still going strong at 4 years.

Depends how much money you want to spend. 85122+'s are one of the best one the market. Known for their bright output but they tend to be a little more yellow than people like. They can be had brand new from TRFS for $90 I believe a pair. Otherwise the new craze is Osram 66240 CBI's they are brighter than the 85122+ both distance wise a width wise, also have 5k output so that means they are pure white, not yellow like the 22+. I have a pair of these myself but haven't been able to fire them up yet. The only problem with these is they are very hard to get, and are pretty spendy $180 a pair.
