My battery was dying and after reading several threads I found it it was the HFL. I removed the wire connected to the HFL, and am assuming this will solve the problem of my battery dying. When browsing through the hands free link still says ''booting up'' - should it still say this after you disconnect your HFL? or do I still need to do something to make sure its fully disconnected at which point it would say something else....

 

It will say that and not go away unless you replace it. Learn to ignore it or shell out the dough for another unit thst will end up failing again
