well i got my Tl bout 3 or 4 months ago. im still learning how to mess with the technology, so i notice that im pumping gas like every 5 days and i don't drive alot, just to school n home n work. today i seen that im only getting 13 miles to a gallon, and i do have the Check engine light on. has anybody every had this low gas mileage? if so what was the cause of the problem?

 

How many miles you have? Auto or manual?

 

i have 61k auto

 

Take it to Autozone and they'll pull the code for free and tell you what the problem is. My guess is you have a bad O2 sensor and it's making the car run rich.

 

After that use Seafoam. Can get it just about anywhere but Walmart is cheapest. It really help clean out your engine. Change spark plugs and if you bought it from a non Acura dealership, you may want to change the oil and filter. Search around on the site. I've learned a lot here.

 

yea get those codes read and let us know what codes they are. Its probably the o2 sensors.
