brakes squeaking.

I have an 06 6 speed with the brembo brakes and it seems that my brakes have been squeaking the entire time i've owned this car. I've replaced the rotors and pads twice same thing. Has anyone else had this problem.

The sqeaking is Charactoristic of brembo brakes. As long as your pads are good and the cars stops fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have the same problem only that I have track pads on my brembo rotors and the sounds they make sometimes are plain embarrassing...when I changed pads prior to these track rated pads I found that putting brake quiet adhesive on the shims kept everything fairly quite. Make sure you do not have any debris in the rotor. Are you using OEM pads?

Mine is an A/T and I had this issue since April when I bought the car; however, every time I mentioned it to the dealership, they said everything was okay and they couldn't do much for me. Luckily my fiance's father was a mechanic back in the day and taught me a trick that most mechanics didn't know.

Try this at your own risk and I am not responsible for any thing that happens. This is merely suggestion for what worked for me.

Using a grinder, round the edges of the brake pads out. The primary issue is that the edge of your brake pads are wearing unevenly and it is now rubbing onto the metal piece that's behind the rotor. If you put your finger from the center of the rotor and slowly move out, the outter part of the rotor is like 1/32 recessed.

He grinded my pads out a week ago and the squeeks/squeals stopped since. No brake issues as well.
