Worst situation ever, I cannot open my Trunk on an 08 Tl I tried the emergency release I took out the rear seats my battery is fine because I can hear it click when I press the trunk button. To make matters worst I have a carpet cleaning stuck in there which Im being charged by the day for. Any Suggestions or secrets to get into this trunk would be greatly appreciated

 

So you have pulled the release through the pass thru while someones trying to open the trunk?

My TL had the same problem, had to take it to dealer, they fixed it under warranty for me

 

With the back seat out can you move the carpet cleaning machine around? Perhaps the machine is somehow keeping the trunk closed?

 

thats what thought too NBP i've been moving around the machine all day. I thought maybe it was right under the arm causing the trunk not to open at all. but thats not it. guess it's off to the acura dealer in the morning. I wouldve taken the machine out from the inside but the previous owner dual subs blocking it.

does the license plate with reverse lights pop out or will that break if i pull it out?
