HELP! Rear Deck Rattling when bass thumping

I dont have any issue on any rattles when just drving without the Audio on... But when I start listening to a music with a deep bass on it, the rear deck is rattling. I already went to acura service 3x and they still have not fixed it. Do I need to get a dynamat? Does anybody have the same problem? Any suggestion? Thanks in advance...

Acura has technical service bulletins on all the problems you are describing. Go to your dealer and tell them you know there are TSB's for these issues. I did and my dealer fixed it.

My dealer did all those fixes on the TSB and mine still has the issue.

My sub is bumping against the shelf from underneath. This is the real issue. If the Sub could either be lowered a bit or something needs to be put in between the Sub and the Shelf so that it dampens the thumping sound.

I haven't done anything to fix this yet but I'll get to it sooner or later. I'm just fed up with my dealer. They don't seem to want to try and fix anything. So I've decided to take matters into my own hands.

I have the same problem. Does anyone have a link to the TSB for the fix?

It's a shame to have such a nice sound system but I can't crank it up with the car rattling.

i unfortunately have the same issue, but i understand if their is no fix for the problem its not the dealers fault. i had the dealer show me any tsb's, the only one that is there is the shelf rattle but that is during driving it has nothing to do with sub and having the bass way up. i guess i could try the dynamat

I had a buzz sound coming from the rear dash too, mine was caused by the LATCH child seat tether covers buzzing. I used some self-adhesive felt to fix it...

I had the bass rattle also. When I had the rear deck off, I took the opportunity to put a little bit of dynamat on the center seat belt tensioner. Now that everything is back together I can turn up the bass all the way with no rattles.
