Help please

I had ball joints replaced and tires balanced and rotated. A week later in the rain the avs reaction symbol cane up on its own and letter avs showed up under speedometer. Then without a feeling in change the needles went to zero on odometer and speedometer at same speed. Then minute later went to normal. Did this two times. I replaced the traction and avs fuse but unsure that may be it so I’m seeing if happened to anyone else. I boyfriend the TL 2005 at165000 and put more money into it then I paid cause I live the car. Any advice would be appreciated.

Bad wheel speed sensor wire or ring. A mechanic can check all 4 wires and see if thats the issue.

OR

you can have a water leak and water is getting onto a computer causing problems!

Unless you had the front bearings replaced, I doubt it's a ring sensor issue. Your "mechanic" likely screwed up one or both of your front wheel abs sensors or broke the connecting wire for the sensor/s.
