Help me. TL-S blows fuse when put in reverse
I own a 2007 Acura TL-S 6 MT. At first I was having a problem with the starter, then on one start up my gauges, windshield wipers, windows, and back-up camera wouldn't work. I found out it was a blown fuse. I replaced it and everything started working again, until i went into reverse and nothing worked. I checked the fuse and it was blown. Any ideas what it could be?
Have you had a clutch put in recently or the transmission removed for any reason? One member had that problem years ago except it would kill the engine in reverse. It turned out to be a pinched wire or a bad switch, can't remember which.

Did you ever figure this out? By now I'm sure you did, or you no longer have the car...
Am asking because I have the exact same problem with my 05 TL 6-MT now.
Refer to the posts by "LaCostaRacer" on this forum in July-August 2014. I had symptoms of the chafed wiring-harness problem with my back-up lights over the past couple months, I'm almost certain there is a relationship. Both lights had stopped working shortly before the first fuse blew.
I'm getting this fixed soon (avoiding reverse and carrying extra fuses til then!) and am curious if you can confirm the problem or maybe point me in another direction.

I didn't change any bulbs, Im having the same problem with my signal, AC , windows and wipers. When I put the car in reverse it blows a 7.5 fuse. I've disconnected the reverse lights and it still blows a fuse. I have looked on YouTube about a reverse light switch but I think it's different with a automatic because it's not on my car like the video and it's the exact car. If I knew what helped the guy in thread above would be awesome
