Help identifying a part

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and a new 3rd gen 06 Acura TL owner with navi. This is my first TL hell its my first Acura. I bought it outright and have been loving until recently.

The drive quality reduced so I started looking into it I found a passenger side outer tie rode that needs replacement. I found this on my drivers side and can't tell if it's an outer tie rode or something else. I just know it needs to get fixed ASAP!!

Thanks for your help!!

I believe this is a balljoint, lower to be exact

The tie rod is in the center, leveled with the middle of your wheel. Hard to explain, but google "Acura tl tie rod" and you'll see what i mean

Yeah I had and I have an outer tie rod that needs to be done on the other side. If this is a lower ball joint man I am gonna be slightly bummed. It's ok I will take care of her. I appreciate your assistance. I'll look it up thanks again!!

Both are quite easy to replace. I replaced my outter and inner tie rod, lower ball joint and end link. You just been to have the car balanced. After replacing my oil pan, everything seems easy.

"You just have to have your car aligned*" not balanced. Balance is done on tires when you replace them. Alignment fixes changes to camber, toe, and caster after major suspension work.
