Help! Going from front coilovers to front stock struts

The stock strut is longer than my coilovers. Now, I am trying to go back to stock struts, my hub is adjusted to my coilover height. I cannot fit the stock strut into the hub. Any suggestions? Do I have to disconnect front endlinks and push down the hub?

And retighten with the suspension preloaded with the jack or car's weight.

Thats how I was able to get my strut off since my endlink bolt was rusted to shit.

I leaned against a wall while pushing down on the hub with my feet and I was able to kick the strut out. lol.

Worked for the back too.
