HELP !!! Drivers side window...

Here's the deal in a nutshell.

The battery went dead. I installed a new battery. Re-entered the radio code. Then, I proceeded to "reset" the windows. All windows work EXCEPT the Drivers side window. The window will not roll down. It currently is in the full up position. I notice the drivers side window switch does make a "click" sound when I activate the switch.

I disconnected the negative battery terminal and re-connected. Everything is tightened up on the battery connections.

It appears there is only ONE fuse for the power windows.

Any ideas?????????

Thanks!!!!

Ya, but my issue isn't the AUTO feature. My issue is that the Drivers window will not roll down. It's "stuck" in the UP position.

More than likely the regulator is shot. I just find it funny that it failed at the exact same time as the battery.

I guess off to the Dealer to let them "fix" it.

I made an appointment with the stealership to figure it out. I'll try to report back the solution. Hopefully there is a simple, EZ fix, but I'm still thinking the regulator/motor is the culprit.

i just went through a similar situation and i found that my window switch was stuck in the open position, it cause the window motor to overheat. I fixed it by unplugging both the switch and motor, works like new now.
