Check your pressure switches make sure they are installed In the right place and plugged in correctly. I had a flashing D light and car would not shift past 3rd gear. Turns out one of my pressure switches was damaged.

Shifting is fine. Everything is plug in. I'm going to put back the old pressure switch.

When I installed new switches in my car, I unplugged something (probably was a trans temp sensor) and didn't plug it back in all the way. I had the flashing D light but it worked fine... just go back and check your connections.

and you might try disconnecting your battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it.
