During cold start only on start-up, doesnt matter if cold or warm outside or day or night. But only cold start start-up rite as my engine is cranking (by the way 6 Speed) as soon as the engine fires up there a LOUD noise which you can feel on the entire car. like the engine smaking agaisnt the subframe.

I took it to the dealership and they told me it was my side motor mount which was obvious it was destroy. I replaced it and not the noise smaking sound is even LOUDER and HARDER felt!

Anyone has this issue? I was thinking maybe the rear engine damper mount?

FYI once the car is warm up i can turn on the car back to back and it wont do it...

 

Noise sounds like a LOUD KNOCKING.

 

Put the emergency brake on and with the engine running and hood up, have someone watch the engine as the clutch is engaged quickly in first gear. Just let the disc engage then push the pedal back down.

 

^ what am I looking for when I do this?

 

Out of the ordinary engine movement indicating destroyed mounts.

 

The dealership obviously didn't do the right job or the full job.

I'd be pretty pissed.
