Help with B-pillar replacement

Hi all,
My 3rd TL was break-in last week, I change the window from the dealer but B-pillare remains damaged(see picture). I want to know

1. if it is possible for me to repair by myself?
2. if yes, what parts should I buy? I read some posts and they suggested 3/6 "GARNISH, R. FR. DOOR SASH *NH1* " from http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal
Is this the right parts? some posts said the b-pillar is ABS plastic, but mine looks like mental with glossy piano colour on it. I am confused.

Thanks!

I'd like to know the same thing, but I would replace mine from hail damage.

If it is repairable by myself, how easy/hard is it and what tools would be needed?

Did either of you ever replace yours? Mine need it as well. I found a guide for the previous generation but nothing for ours.

Ha. Ironically, my car was broken into 2 days ago and they also damaged my pillar like above. But I took it to a body shop to get everything fixed in one stop.

assuming the black b pillar is held on by screws and bolts; you're looking to remove from the inside.

rip up the inside of the b-pillar to find out how its being held on
then go from there

when i say rip up; i mean delicately remove the door panel/b pillar from the inside

I just paid my $50 deductible to fix my window and pillar and other damage to the door

I think that garnish piece you are asking about is only ~$30 or so..
