Alright, so as some of you may know, I have 2005 TL...nbp/navi auto with about 56,xxx
Anyways, as of resently, I've been having some small, but persistant issues...
For example, at times I have MAJOR droning around 2000...louder than I've ever heard, it's definitely unusual FOR SURE (comptechs)...is it possible for something to BOLT off possibly to be causing this massive droning?...i can feel a VERY noticeable amount of power loss when this happens...usually on the freeways; it doesn't always happen though...
My rpms keep dropping below .5 thousand, and halfway stalls the car/shudders noticeably (could it possibly be a bad battery?)
My engines lost a noticeable amount of power (maybe a dirty cai filter?)
And today...I almost ran out of gas...was at zero (got lost on mercer island somehow) for about a good 30-40 miles...but after I filled up and got home, the car had smoke coming out of the engine bay...didn't smell like ne thing was burning...more "cooking"...if that even makes ne sense!

i'm thinking about taking it in for maintenance? maybe she just needs to be kept a little better? i usually do all the oil changes myself at home...so she hasn't gone into the dealership in quite a while...

...is she dying?!

Has your car thrown any CELs (after the shuttering / sputter, I'd assume so).

Go down to AutoZone and rent a Code reader .. it'll show you what's up .

Do you still have the original spark plugs on your car?

 

yes shiir i have the original spark plugs...but no codes shown?
