Help! '08 Type-S 6MT Clutch Problem???

My TL started doing something weird yesterday and it happened again this morning. At around 3-3200 rpm (3rd gear yesterday & 4th gear today) the car seemed to bog down almost like the clutch is slipping then it would catch and accelerate normal. I seem to have good bite when starting from a complete stop and don't drive my car hard except for the occasional merge onto the highway. I only have 71,XXX miles on the car. Has this happened to anyone before??

Hmmm...odd...have your run an injector cleaner at all? Maybe clean your EGR valve, or PCM? If it's only in 3rd and 4th, it sounds like it might be more fuel related, to me.

and maybe the throttle position sensor!

Never run injector cleaner. I'm about to do the timing belt and everything included with that service due to years. I will look into things you have mentioned. Thanks rockstar!

Try 5th and 6th gear to see if there is slippage, it is common when the clutch is dying that it will slip in higher gears where is more load on the clutch. Either way you should notice RPM's rising and the car not accelerating when in higher gears. The TL uses a self adjusting clutch so there is little warning before the car becomes undrivable.

Will try on my ride home from work. Thanks for the input!
