Heeeellllppppp!!!!!!
So I just purchase a 2004 Acura TL 6speed with bad brakes. It drove fine before I did a brake job. (As she said) But I've done plenty of brake jobs before and this is one job I couldn't figure out. Ive changed all four brakes due to bad pads. After replacing all four, I bled them from all four wheels. Afterwards, i test drove the vehicle. It drove fine for approximately 5 miles. When I realize my car was hesitating, the vsa light came on and I smell a burning odor. I pulled over and put it in first. Then car wouldn't move. I tried to push. Nothing. So I towed it home and jacked up the vehicle. I spin each wheel and they spin, but rough. So i decided to change my master cylinder. Changing it, the vehicle still giving me all these problems.
Could it be a defective master cylinder?
I'm out of ideas. Please help!!!

Well... Do you know how to do brake jobs?
Do 4 brakes? Meaning 4 pads and rotors, or 4 calipers?
Why you bled them? You cleaned calipers / hardware? You put some grease? Slide pins are greased and moving freely? Can you collapse pistons?

You need to get the code checked at a shop. When the VSA light comes on it can indicate a problem with a sensor, and you can get the code checked out.

I replaced the pads on all four. No rotors needed. They're still smooth. I also did all that yes.

Check your ABS sensors.. probably damaged one.. domino effect ----> VSA code (get it read anyways), chump mode

Not your master cylinder. Different behavior if it was.
Why would you bleed brakes after pad change? Was there another issue?
Anyway, did you pull all wheels and check all 4 bleeder screws and look for a leaks?
Any shop with the right code reader can read codes, yes.

Keep in mind...this is a 6MT...so Brembo up front. Did you bleed those correctly?
My guess is you had a pad dragging, it got hot and clamped down tight. I am assuming the burning smell was hot brakes. So either stuck caliper, or mis-aligned pads are my thoughts.
