Question Heater Blower Delay

Hello Fellow Acuraziner's,

I have been searching the forum for anyone that's having a similar issue as I am. But most threads are about their A/C/Heater blower not working. So my issue is when I turn on the heater there won't be any heat coming out of the vents. However, after 2-3 seconds I hear the blower running and heat is being dispensed through the vents. This has never happen before because the blower will turn on instantly whenever I turn on the heat. The display screen does show the temperature and the fan speed. Therefore, is this a symptom that the blower is going bad? Temperature in Canada (where I am) is hovering around -15 degrees Celsius so I want to fix this problem as soon as I can.

Thank You.

I am assuming it has gotten that cold before and it didnt do what your describing. I was thinking maybe slight delay because it was soo cold.

Thank you for replying. There's still a delay even after 20-30 minutes of driving. According to the following thread "https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-problems-fixes-117/c-heater-blower-repair-diy-775458/" I might check out the blower resistor to see if there is any corrosion.

Is this right when you start up the car? What's your Car temperature at when testing this?

But the delay has never happen before. Last year, the temperature was -35 degrees Celsius and the blower came on instantly once I turn on the heater.

Today, the temperature was around -13 degrees Celsius. I first experience this issue in the morning on a cold start and even after 20-30 minutes around town I still get a delay on the blower if I turn the heater back on.
