HeAT FROM Engine

Yesterday while driving for about 20 mins i smelt rubber burning and i had my ac off but hot air was still coming out of them .... does anyone know wat this could be ?

do you mean hot air coming out of your vents? if you last had your climate control on heat (e.g. 75 fahrenheit) and is set on outside air mode, hot air still comes through vents while driving, even when the climate control is turned off.
for the rubber burning i'm not sure what that could be.

in order to stop heat coming in from the vents u have to turn on the recirculate mode ... the burning rubber smell ... not sure do u have an aftermarket electronics?

PS hose?? What year TL? There was a safety recall for unprotected PS hoses melting/burn through causing fires in the engine compartment...

You can register at myacura.com to find out if the recall is applicable to your car. If it's applicable, the site will also tell you if it's been done on your car. Your dealer can also tell you this info...

its a 2005 tl idk if its been recalled , but the PS hose is acting strange i hear a noise coming from it some1 said to get a new o-ring so ima try that out in a few hrs after wrk im goin right there

you press the recirculate button

its on the right hand side of the heating/cooling controls. I think its like the second one down from he top....there is a circular-ish arrow on the button. Its the thing that usually comes on when you try to Max cool the car. It will auto recirculate to help cool it quicker.
