Hey guys..thinking of swaping out my headlights and taillamps. I want to DIY.. is it a straight swap like on my Mitsu GTO or do I have to remove bumpers or motor trim like on my Caddy SRX..

 

you need to remove the front bumper but not the rear IIRC

 

you will need remove both bumpers. if you had experience before. it won't be an issue.

 

For the front you have to remove the bumper to swap headlights.

For the rear, you dont have to remove the entire bumper. Just work one side at a time. That's what i did

 

For the headlights you will have to remove the front bumper! Beware that the 2006+ Headlights use a slimmer ballast than the 2004 & 2005 models! Also the turn signals are different bulbs on the 2007+ headlamps!

On the tail lights, you will need to loosen the top of the bumper at a MINIMUM to get to the screws. I suggest you do it right and remove the whole bumper. Also be sure to transfer over the old gaskets or buy new ones!
