Headlights oxidizing
Headlights oxidizing
Whats the best fix for oxidizing headlights? Ive read around and I see fixes but then i see people saying that it will only fix it temporarily and then it will oxidize again. I see some products, but apparently those are only temporary also. How much do places usually charge to get them fixed right. i dont really have any buffing stuff so i cant diy-it.
thanks in advance

Mines were a bit yellow also so I went to autozone to buy a headlight cleaner for $18. It comes in a shiny plastic with all the stuff you need, no special tools required.
It also guarantees to keep it from oxidizing again. We'll see how they hold up as I just did the job today.

I had the exact same problem.
I just bought the TL and didn't like how the headlights were so hazy and scratched up from road debris.
Went out and bought Meguiars Headlight Restoration Kit for $30 on sale.
Also went and bought 1500 and 2000 grit sand paper (to get better results by sanding the scratches out).

That weekend I went to the Acura Dealer and I saw an advertisement for restoring the headlights.
Price was $150. I spent ~$40, so I was kind of laughing in my head.

I'm not sure how much these help, but I bought the clear bra for my lights here:

They were $40 too and I hope they'll prevent the pitting, hazing, and discoloration.
