Headlight problem/unplugged wire?

My driver side headlight went out, so I went ahead and replaced the bulb. Before starting I noticed there was a unplugged wire/cable. After replacing the bulb in the headlamp it still does not work. I noticed on the passenger side, that works fine, there is a buzz while on/working. On the driver side there is no Buzz sound.

Does anyone know where this plug goes? Is there another reason why my driver side light won’t work?

Off topic, but, is that a non-sealed battery? As in one you can add fluid to?

I checked the fuse in the engine bay for the driver side headlight and it was blown. I replace it with the proper fuse and it instantly blew once I turned the head lights on. This car is completely stock except for an air intake. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unplug the balast, put new fuse, and turn headlights on.

If fuse is blown - short in the wire, look for damage somewhere
If fuse is not blown - balast is probably bad, make sure bulb is connected correctly.

Just jiggle it around it’ll come off. Probably take about one minute. Very easy.
