i was playing with my high beams last night and whenever i turn my highbeams on or flick them they make a "click" or like "shift noise" and idk if its normal or something is wrong or why they do it but now i know that it makes that noise its going to annoy me....anyone know what the reason for this is or anyone else have the same problem

 

Our headlights are bi-xenon.
which means lows and highs are the same bulb.

what happens is that there is a solenoid that activates a flap when you switch to your high beams.
you can hear the flap pivoting
