Headlight Issues...again!

Does anyone else have reoccurring issue with their headlights?

Here's the thing; I JUST replaced the igniter on my driver side that runs from the ballast to the bulb. And it was working for a few weeks perfectly. For the past three days, it has been raining here a ton and I have been driving in it a ton. I looked under the hood and it was all wet around the headlight unit inside.

I know moisture/water do strange things to cars so pretty much what I am asking is could the water have effected the lights somehow?
If so, is there some way to help block out the water from hindering it anymore?

if there is water in your headlight assembly, then you will continue to have failed headlight parts. water and HIDs do not mix

Your new part should still be under warranty?

Maybe you replaced the wrong part... or ballist is also defective too.

HID lights are not suppose to last for ever. Their parts are consumable.
