When I turn on my headlights, the driver's side one comes on only about once every 5 or 6 times I try. The bulbs were replaced last year, so I'm thinking an igniter or ballast which are still original on that side. The igniter on the other side was changed when I replaced the bulbs.

Any ideas?

I'd go with ballast as well, but personally I'd swap the parts from passenger side to driver side and see if the problem moves sides before throwing money at it.

 

The pain in the ass part is having to remove the bumper in order to do this.
