Headlight Bulbs + Interior Lights

My TL's interior lights such as those lighting up the text for the Brightness/Information Buttons are not working anymore. I turned all the lights and as usual, they should all light up but as off yesterday, they seemed to have stopped working. Any idea if I should let Acura dealership fix it for me is it an easy job for me to fix? Or can normal Auto stores such as Canadian Tire be able to replace those lights? Everything else, other interior lights seem to work.

Lastly, I want to replace my headlight bulbs, I understand they are the D2S bulbs, but I want a good brand such as Philips. Also, not sure whether I should go for 6000k or 8000k, so if you can see through the last picture, can you tell me which color would match the lower grille LEDs? I want to get rid of the LEDs and replace with the accord fog kit soon, but for now I would like them to match. Maybe 8000k should do but is the blue headlight color kinda ricey for anyone's taste? The current bulbs are the OEM bulbs which are supposed to be 4300k, after 5+ years of service, I think they have worn out since they barely light up the streets.

The best buld out there right now is a Philips 85122+, the only problem is they are a little on the yellow side. The LED's you have seem to be a 6000k, But every bulb is going to be different, I've had some that are white, blue, white with a tint of blue. Right now I'm running a pair of Philips AX-6 bulbs that seem like they will match what you have perfectly. Also, I'll be getting a pair of new bulbs soon that are comparable to the light output of the 85122+, but with a 5000K blueish tint to them. They are called "Osram Xenarc Cool blue" "The Retrofit Source" will be carrying these soon for around $150 shipped and they are an OEM bulb.

Ok, I found some negative reviews about the Kaixen bulbs, so its either the Morimoto bulbs or the Philips bulbs, obviously Philips would be better, but it comes in 4300k only as it seems.

As for the Morimotos, which should I get, 35W or 50W?

If you're using the stock ballasts you need to get the 35w. Matt is waiting for the shipment of the Osram bulbs to come in, I'm not sure if he's going to post them in his store or not. But you can email him and ask him to get in on the pre-order for the Osram Cool blue bulbs. I'd go with the philips or the Osrams over the Morimotos just because the morimotos are aftermarket bulbs which tend to not last very long at all, the other two are an OEM brand which will last you a lot longer IMO. Here's the thread about the Cool blue bulbs.

The dash lights are an easy fix. Check the 3G Garage for instructions---section G100, I believe. You can replace with OEM or LED.
nate---thanks for info on the new bulbs. I hate the color of my 85122+ bulbs. I was gonna go back to stock, but I like your option too.

No problem, Matt said they are back ordered for a couple weeks so I'll be waiting to around christmas time to get some comparison pics but It's a nice alternative.
