Head light problems please help
so yesterday i noticed that my right head light would not turn on. i was not awear that my 2004 TL had two differnet bulbs for low and high. well the low and high dont turn on so i figuerd it could not be both bulbs that where out. so i found out that my fuse for my low beams did not was blow, i replaced it and it blew it out again. so something is shorting out causing my fuse to blow. so what could be causing my low and high beams not to turn on and blow my fuse.
There's only one bulb for low and high beam.
We have bi-xenon projectors...
That being said, means that there's a motorized "shield" that moves to enable high beam, using the same bulb to output light.

this problem happened to my friend about a year ago. We were confused at first...he kept changing fuses and they kept blowing. Then is started happening to the other headlights...Turns out that it was a problem with the ballasts. He changed both ballasts and everything worked afterwards

We have HID headlamps (High Intensity Discharge). These make use of a ballast which may in your case, have failed. This needs to be checked out.
